WYBÓR TEMATU PRACY DYPLOMOWEJ - przed rozpoczęciem semestru dyplomowego
Studenci II stopnia mają możliwość wyboru własnego tematu pracy dyplomowej magisterskiej - szczegółowy zakres pracy powinien być każdorazowo omówiony i ustalony w porozumieniu z Promotorem pracy.

do 16 lutego należy złożyć w systemie USOS APD zgłoszenie tematu pracy dyplomowej:
Wniosek zakłada Promotor, w porozumieniu ze studentem uzupełnia dane dotyczące pracy, następnie Student podpisuje wniosek (elektronicznie w systemie)
do 25 lutego właściwa Komisja Wydziałowa akceptuje kartę tematu pracy.
do 30.06.2024 należy wgrać pracę do systemu USOS APD - za termin złożenia pracy uważa się moment zaakceptowania pracy w systemie przez Promotora (po zapoznaniu się z wynikiem badania antyplagiatowego JSA) - UWAGA - należy uwzględnić czas na badanie - od 24 do 48 h (przy dużym obłożeniu).

CHOOSING THE TOPIC OF YOUR DIPLOMA THESIS - before the start of the diploma semester
Second-cycle students have the opportunity to choose their own topic for their master's thesis - the detailed scope of the thesis should be discussed and agreed each time in consultation with the thesis supervisor.

Shortened schedule of the diploma semester:
You must submit your diploma thesis topic to the USOS APD system by February 16:
The application is created by the Supervisor, in consultation with the student, completes the data regarding the work, then the student signs the application (electronically in the system)
The relevant Faculty Committee accepts the thesis topic card by February 25.
The thesis must be uploaded to the USOS APD system by June 30, 2024 - the deadline for submitting the thesis is the moment of acceptance of the thesis in the system by the Promoter (after reviewing the result of the JSA anti-plagiarism test) - NOTE - the time for the examination should be taken into account - from 24 to 48 h ( at high occupancy).

Organizacja sesji dyplomowej magisterskiej w RA 2023/24
Informacje o składzie Komisji i terminie obrony będą rozesłane pocztą elektroniczną nie później niż dwa dni przed planowaną obroną.
Egzamin dyplomowy magisterski będzie miał formę ustną i odbędzie się podczas obrony dyplomu. Pytania zadawane są na podstawie zagadnień egzaminacyjnych opublikowanych na stronie internetowej WA PP.
W RA 2023-24, zgodnie z decyzją Rady Wydziału WA PP, makieta fizyczna projektu dyplomowego (makieta robocza) jest dostarczana przez Studenta bezpośrednio na obronę dyplomu. Nie dopuszcza się makiet wykonanych przez profesjonalne firmy.
Organization of the MA diploma session at AY 2023/24
Information on the members of the Commission and the date of the defense will be sent by e-mail no later than two days before the planned defense.
The master's diploma examination will be oral and will take place during the defense of the diploma. Questions are asked on the basis of examination issues published on the FA PUT website.
In AY 2023-24, in accordance with the decision of the FA PUT Faculty Council, a physical model of the diploma project (working model) is delivered by the Student directly to the defense of the diploma. Mock-ups made by professional companies are not allowed.
WGRYWANIE PRACY DYPLOMOWEJ:
Przed wgraniem pracy dyplomowej Dyplomant powinien mieć:
- zaliczone wszystkie przedmioty
- zamknięte wszystkie semestry.
Dyplomant wgrywa do systemu USOS APD pracę dyplomową. Po akceptacji Promotora pliki są przesyłane do JSA (jednolity system antyplagiatowy).
System sprawdza pracę i przesyła raport do Promotora pracy. Czas oczekiwania 12-48h, w zależności od zajętości serwerów.
Promotor informuje o wyniku Dyplomanta. Dyplomant ma prawo dwukrotnie podmienić pliki, w każdym przypadku praca ponownie jest sprawdzana przez JSA.
UWAGA: Dyplomant powinien wziąć pod uwagę czas pracy systemu - stąd bezpieczny termin wgrania gotowej pracy to ok 3-4 dni przed ostatecznym terminem złożenia pracy.
Do systemu Dyplomant wgrywa również załączniki graficzne. Brak załączników graficznych uniemożliwia obronę pracy dyplomowej.
UWAGA: Zatwierdzenie pracy przez Promotora jest uznawane za złożenie pracy i zamyka możliwość zamiany plików lub wgrania dodatkowych załączników graficznych.
Załączniki graficzne:
- plansze dyplomowe - format pionowy 100x70, każda plansza w osobnym pliku.
- oświadczenie o zgodzie na udział pracy w konkursach.
LOADING DIPLOMA THESIS:
Before uploading the diploma thesis, the Graduate should have:
- all courses passed
- all semesters closed.
The graduate student uploads the diploma thesis to the system USOS APD. After the Supervisor's approval, the files are sent to JSA (unified anti-plagiarism system).
The system checks the files and sends the report to the Supervisor. The waiting time (12-48h) depends on how busy the servers are.
The Supervisor informs the Student about the result. The Graduate has the right to replace the files twice, in each case the thesis is checked again by the JSA.
NOTE: The system operation time should be taken into account - hence the safe deadline for uploading the finished work is about 3-4 days before the deadline for submitting the work.
The diplomat also uploads graphic attachments to the system. The lack of graphic attachments makes it impossible to defend the diploma thesis.
NOTE: Approval of the thesis by the Supervisor is considered as submission of the thesis and closes the possibility of replacing files or uploading additional graphic attachments.
Graphic attachments:
- diploma boards - vertical format 100x70, each board in a separate file
- declaration of consent to the participation in competitions.
ZŁOŻENIE PRACY DYPLOMOWEJ:
Za moment złożenia pracy dyplomowej uważa się zatwierdzenie pracy dyplomowej w systemie przez Promotora.
Promotor przed zatwierdzeniem pracy powinien upewnić się, że Dyplomant wgrał ostateczne wersje załączników graficznych.
Zatwierdzenie pracy w systemie przez Promotora zamyka możliwość dokonywania jakichkolwiek zmian w plikach oraz załącznikach graficznych. Podczas obrony pracy dyplomowej Komisja oraz Dyplomant korzystają z plików pobranych z systemu.
Dyplomant składa w Dziekanacie podanie o wydanie dyplomu oraz przekazuje informacje dodatkowe do suplementu w j. polskim i j. angielskim (jeżeli są, wraz z załącznikami potwierdzającymi ww. informacje). W przypadku pracy zespołowej Dyplomanci składają oświadczenie wskazujące autorstwo poszczególnych części pracy pisemnej i udział współautorów w projekcie dyplomowym.
SUBMISSION OF THE DIPLOMA THESIS:
The moment of submitting the diploma thesis is the approval of the diploma thesis in the system by the Supervisor.
Before approving the thesis, the Supervisor should make sure that the Graduate Student has uploaded the final versions of the graphic attachments.
Approval of the work in the system by the Supervisor closes the possibility of making any changes to the files and graphic attachments.
The Commission and the Diplomat use files downloaded from the system during defense.
The Diplomate submits to the Dean's Office an application for the award of the diploma and provides additional information for the supplement in Polish and English (if any, together with attachments confirming the above information). In the case of team work, Diplomates submit a statement indicating authorship of individual parts of the written work and co-authors' participation in the diploma project.
OBRONA PRACY DYPLOMOWEJ (czas trwania ok 1h):
Część otwarta
Obrona pracy dyplomowej jest publiczna, można zaprosić na nią gości - wyjątkiem może być sytuacja pandemiczna i nałożone ograniczenia.
Obrona nie może być w żaden sposób rejestrowana przez osoby obecne na sali.
- Otwarcie obrony przez Przewodniczącego Komisji w imieniu Dziekana WA PP.
- Prezentacja pracy: Dyplomant ma 10-15 minut na przedstawienie swojej pracy dyplomowej.
Dyplomant drukuje plansze dyplomowe i przynosi je na Wydział w wyznaczonym dniu (harmonogram).
W dniu obrony plansze są przenoszone do wyznaczonego pokoju, w którym odbywa się egzamin dyplomowy. Dyplomant przynosi makietę projektu.
W trakcie prezentacji projektu Dyplomant może korzystać z wydrukowanych plansz lub przedstawić prezentację multimedialną. Nie ma możliwości dodawania elementów nie uwzględnionych wcześniej lub poprawiania fragmentów pracy dyplomowej i projektu. Ocenie Komisji podlega zakres pracy wgrany do sytemu, członkowie Komisji przed obroną zapoznają się z cyfrowymi wersjami plansz oraz pracą pisemną. Recenzent wpisuje na ich podstawie opinię do systemu.
Makieta fizyczna projektowanego budynku lub zespołu jest prezentowana Komisji na zakończenie tej części.
- Recenzja pracy: Recenzent czyta przygotowaną recenzję, po wysłuchaniu całej recenzji Dyplomant odpowiada na pytania Recenzenta.
- Dyskusja: Przewodniczący Komisji rozpoczyna dyskusję dotyczącą pracy dyplomowej. Głos w dyskusji mogą zabrać wszystkie osoby obecne na sali.
Część zamknięta
(na sali pozostaje jedynie Dyplomant oraz Członkowie Komisji):
- Egzamin dyplomowy: Komisja zadaje Dyplomantowi 3 pytania. Aby zaliczyć egzamin, Dyplomant musi uzyskać pozytywną ocenę przynajmniej na dwa z nich.
- Narada: Dyplomant opuszcza salę, Członkowie Komisji ustalają oceny za przebieg obrony, pracę dyplomową oraz pytania egzaminacyjne.
Część otwarta
- Ogłoszenie wyników: do sali wraca Dyplomant oraz goście, a Przewodniczący Komisji ogłasza wynik obrony.
- Dyplomant, którego praca została oceniona na ocenę 5,0, ma obowiązek pozostawienia wydrukowanych plansz na Uczelni. Plansze można odebrać po upływie jednego roku.
PRACA ZESPOŁOWA:
W przypadku pracy zespołowej Dyplomanci podczas składania dokumentów w Dziekanacie dodatkowo przynoszą pisemne oświadczenie, w którym wskazują autorstwo poszczególnych części pracy pisemnej i udział współautorów w projekcie dyplomowym.
Obrona pracy zespołowej rozpoczyna się prezentacją części wspólnej dla wszystkich autorów, podczas której należy wskazać autorstwo poszczególnych części pracy. Następnie każdy autor przedstawia część pracy, za którą jest odpowiedzialny. Recenzent przedstawia osobną recenzję dla każdej z części i odpowiednio wprowadza je do systemu. Każdy z autorów odpowiada na pytania recenzenta skierowane do swojej części pracy, na pytania dotyczące części wspólnej autorzy odpowiadają razem.
Pytania egzaminacyjne - każda osoba odpowiada osobno na swój zestaw pytań (podczas odpowiedzi w sali zostaje jedynie osoba egzaminowana + Komisja).
Czas egzaminu w przypadku pracy dyplomowej zespołowej jest odpowiednio wydłużony.
DEFENSE OF DIPLOMA THESIS (about 1h):
Open part
The defense of the thesis is public, guests can be invited - an exception may be a pandemic situation and imposed restrictions.
The defense may not be recorded by the visitors in any way.
- Opening of the defense by the Chairman of the Committee on behalf of the Dean of FA PUT.
- Presentation of the thesis: The graduate student has 10-15 minutes to present his diploma thesis.
The diploma student prints the diploma boards and brings them to the Faculty on the designated day (schedule).
On the day of the defence, the boards are taken to the designated room where the diploma examination takes place. The Diplomate brings a mock-up of the project.
During the presentation of the project, the Diplomate may use the printed boards or present a multimedia presentation. It is not possible to add elements not previously included or to correct parts of the thesis and the project. The scope of the thesis uploaded to the system is evaluated by the Commission; before the defence, the Commission members read the digital versions of the charts and the written thesis. Based on these, the reviewer enters an opinion into the system.
A physical mock-up of the designed building or complex is presented to the Commission at the end of this part.
- Review: the Reviewer reads the prepared review, after listening to the whole review the Diplomate answers the Reviewer's questions.
- Discussion: The Chairperson of the Committee initiates a discussion on the thesis. All persons present may speak in the discussion.
Closed part
(only the Graduate and Members of the Committee remain in the room):
- Diploma examination: The Commission asks the Graduate 3 questions. To pass the exam, the Graduate must obtain a positive grade for at least two of them.
- The Graduate leaves the room, Committee members determine the marks for the defense, thesis and examination questions.
Open part
- Announcement of the results: the Graduate and the guests return to the room, and the Chairman of the Committee announces the result of the defense.
- A Graduate whose thesis has been graded 5.0 is required to leave the printed charts at the University. The charts can be collected after one year
TEAMWORK:
In the case of team work, when submitting documents to the Dean's Office, the Diplomats additionally bring a written declaration in which they indicate the authorship of individual parts of the written work and the participation of co-authors in the diploma project.
The defense of teamwork begins with the presentation of a part common to all authors, during which the authorship of individual parts of the work should be indicated. Then each author presents the part of the work for which they are responsible. The reviewer presents a separate review for each of the parts and enters them into the system accordingly. Each of the authors answers the questions of the reviewer addressed to his part of the work, the authors answer the questions about the common part together.
Exam questions - each person answers his / her own set of questions (while answering the exam, only the examiner + Commission is left in the room).
The examination time in the case of team diploma thesis is appropriately extended.
