Volkera Zieglera z École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture w Strasbourgu, zatytułowany “Strasbourg, from the city on the Ill river to the Eurometropolis on the Rhine”. Wykład odbędzie się w czwartek 13 stycznia 2022 roku w o godzinie 11.45 w sali 105/106 w budynku Wydziału Architektury i Inżynierii Zarządzania PP.
Prof. Volker Ziegler studiował architekturę na Politechnice w Karlsruhe i ENSA Paris-Belleville. Był stypendysta Fulbrighta na Columbia University i University of Maryland, pracownikiem naukowym w Centrum Architektury i Dziedzictwa w Paryżu, wykładowcą w ENSA Paris-la-Villette oraz profesorem urbanistyki i projektowania w ENSA Nancy. Pracował także jako architekt i planista w Paryżu.
Obecnie prof. Ziegler jest profesorem w Narodowej Szkole Architektury w Strasburgu (ENSA Strasbourg) oraz koordynatorem francusko-niemieckiego programu magisterskiego z architektury w ENSA Strasbourg i KIT Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Zainteresowania badawcze profesora dotyczą stosunków francusko-niemieckich oraz transferu kulturowego w architekturze i planowaniu przestrzennym. Ostatnio opublikowane książki to: Planning and Building in Border Regions (2019, wspólnie z K. Tragbarem) oraz Ein neues Mainz? Kontroversen um die Gestalt der Stadt nach 1945 (2019 wspólnie z J.-L. Cohenem and H. Frankiem).

Lecture by Prof. Volker Ziegler
We cordially invite all students and employees to the lecture by Prof. Volker Ziegler from École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture in Strasbourg, entitled “Strasbourg, from the city on the Ill river to the Eurometropolis on the Rhine”. The lecture will take place on Thursday, 13 January 2022 at 11.45 am in room 105/106 in the building of the Faculty of Architecture and Management Engineering of PUT.
Prof. Volker Ziegler studied architecture at the Technical University of Karlsruhe and ENSA Paris-Belleville. He was a Fulbright research scholar at Columbia University and the University of Maryland, a research fellow at the Center for Architecture and Heritage in Paris, a lecturer at ENSA Paris-la-Villette, and a professor of urban planning and design at ENSA Nancy. He also worked as an architect and planner in Paris.
Currently Prof. Ziegler is professor at the National School of Architecture in Strasbourg (ENSA Strasbourg) and coordinator of the Franco-German Master's Program in Architecture at ENSA Strasbourg and KIT Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
The professor's research interests include Franco-German relations and cultural transfer in architecture and urban planning. Recently published books are: “Planning and Building in Border Regions” (2019, ed. with K. Tragbar), “Ein neues Mainz? Kontroversen um die Gestalt der Stadt nach 1945” (2019, with J.-L. Cohen and H. Frank).
