1 grudnia 2023 roku w Tarnowie Podgórnym odbyło się spotkanie inaugurujące działalność Centrum Demokracji i Integracji Obywatelskiej, którego budowa jest efektem kilkuletniej współpracy gminy Tarnowo Podgórne z Wydziałem Architektury PP i organizacją pozarządową Haverford Instytut Publicznej Socjologii reprezentowaną przez prof. S.Zbierski-Salameh.
Ze strony naszego Wydziału we współpracę zaangażowani byli: prof. W. Bonenberg, prof. A. Łubowski, dr hab. D.Pazder, prof. PP, dr B. Kaźmierczak. Rezultatem tej współpracy był architektoniczno-urbanistyczny konkurs studencki, w którym zwyciężyła praca studentek III roku I st. - Zuzanny Wysoczyńskiej i Karoliny Wnuk. Na podstawie tej koncepcji  został opracowany projekt wykonawczy budynku, którego otwarcie właśnie miało miejsce. Serdecznie gratulujemy Autorkom pracy, jak i Opiekunom merytorycznym!

On December 1, 2023, there was organised an official opening of the Center for Democracy and Civic Integration located in Tarnowo Podgórne. The construction of the Center is the result of several years of cooperation between the Tarnowo Podgórne commune, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Technology and the non-governmental organization of Haverford Institute of Public Sociology, represented by prof. Suava Zbierski-Salameh.
The following members of our Faculty were involved in the cooperation: prof. W. Bonenberg, prof. A. Łubowski, D.Pazder,  univ. prof.,  B. Kaźmierczak assist. prof. The result of this cooperation was an architectural and urban planning competition for students, in which the winning project was the work of third-year, first-cycle students: Zuzanna Wysoczyńska and Karolina Wnuk. Based on this concept, an executive design of the building was developed and the construction had begun. Now we may celebrate the realization! Congratulations to the authors and substantive supervisors!
