Information for students of the 6th semester of 1st cycle studies

THE CHOICE OF THE SUPERVISOR (6 sem)

The choice of the diploma thesis Supervisor for AY 2022-23 take place through the e-course.
The course will be available to Students on May 16, 2022 at 8.00 am.
The registration procedure will look like this:
1. Students upload a portfolio to the appropriate module – task, in accordance with the guidelines (3 selected design works from the study period – 1 project per page, and graphic, drawing, sculptural works – 1 page)
2. Students mark their preferred supervisor on the list – only one person can be indicated.
IMPORTANT:
Informations about Supervisors are included in the group descriptions – check if:
– the selected promoter conducts diplomas in a given field of study (Architecture, Interior Design)
– in what language (Polish, English)
– and find out what the limit of people per diploma is.
Limit of people related to the standards of educating architects and arrangements with other employee duties. Supervisors will not be able to accept more people than indicated in the description.
3. Supervisors accept selected students (the order of applications does not matter).
4. Unselected persons receive an e-mail with information about the necessity to re-select.
The procedure is repeated 3 times – after the end of the third round, free students will be randomly added to the free Supervisors.

CHOICE OF THE SUBJECT OF DIPLOMA THESIS

The subject of the diploma thesis should be indicated before the beginning of the diploma semester.

For this purpose, the certificate of receipt of the topic must be submitted to the Dean's Office by the end of September.

The subject card must be submitted by the end of October. The form is filled in by the Student and sent to the thesis Supervisor. The Supervisor sends the completed form to the e-mail address of the secretariat of the diploma unit.

In the case of engineering diplomas (BSc), it is not possible to pursue own topics.
