The Biomaterials Laboratory explores the potential of natural materials and selected biomaterials, including mycelium-based materials, in architecture, interior design, and design. Our mission is to develop innovative and sustainable technologies that can become an alternative to traditional building and interior design materials. An important assumption of our activity is to contribute to the idea of a circular economy through the use of secondary raw materials, minimization of the carbon footprint, and creation of biodegradable materials.
