120 Hours was initiated by students at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design in 2011, and is currently the world's largest architectural competition for students, by students. Every spring we present a unique assignment for students around the globe to solve and submit within 120 hours. In our busiest years we receive 700+ entries from over 70 countries.
The 2025 edition of the competition will take place between March 3rd and March 8th. Winners will be awarded with cash prize og NOK 30 000 (1st place), NOK 15 000 (2nd place) and NOK 7 500 (3rd place). Collectively, all submissions make up a public exhibition at the old Munch Museum in Oslo. The exhibition will also serve as the base for the jury sessions, where jury members from all over the world will discuss and decide on the winners of 120 Hours 2025.
